New Deviations
You've probably seen a wave of new deviations. It's been a while since I've updated my profile, so these are not all fresh stuff. I've been experimenting with matte painting, and my new tool: Painters Studio, a modified version of Gimp that my buddy, Giniu, and I, have been working on. If you're using Arch Linux, you can get it from here:

It's available on Arch Linux only, at the moment, sorry. That's the platform I use for work, so unless someone wants to package Pst for other platforms, you'll have to switch. Muwahahaha! :)

Changes at work
Hooray, some good changes at work. I'm no longer doing so much shit work. Been transferred to a different department, got that long overdue raise, and even a two-week vacation. New boss is awesome. Finally someone who understands what I do, and how much more I could do. I'm looking at a year of improvement, and will receive plenty of training at whatever I want. All in all, things turned out for the best.
I'm painting again
Ok, so I finally got over the fact that I'm working a shit job. The only consolation is that I have have more free time as a consequence. 8 hours completely wasted, but at least it's not a 12-hour shift. Lucky me, eh? :(
At home, I now paint. And it's not all that bad. I thought I'd never paint again, but then I've learned how to use MyPaint, and wow! It works!

Writing a book

I did some artwork for it as well. It was a cool experience, working with my Wacom Bamboo and MyPaint to add that organic feel. Still a bit wet behind the ears when it comes to digital painting, but I'm slowly getting the hang of it.
